Guizhou Hezhang Pilot: A 60 TPD County Waste-to-Energy Station
How a 60 tons/day modular waste-to-energy station in Hezhang County, Guizhou met national emission standards with slag reuse and zero wastewater discharge.
Project overview
The Hezhang County Eco-Environmental Service Station (Yemachuan site) was built in 2019 and passed national acceptance in 2020. The 60 tons/day facility occupies 5,000 square meters with a total investment of CNY 25 million, using Qingfeng's grate furnace technology.
Coverage and scale
The station serves the towns of Yemachuan, Weizhe, Guda and Pingshan. It handles county-level municipal solid waste at 60 tons/day, demonstrating Qingfeng's small-scale waste-to-energy approach for sparsely populated regions.
Performance
Emissions met China national standards, slag was reused for brick-making, and the station achieved zero wastewater discharge. The result was harmless, reduced and recycled disposal of Hezhang County's waste.
Recognition
The project was reviewed and approved as a national demonstration project by the MOHURD expert panel.
